December Character Meets in Disneyland Paris

One of the key parts of any Disney trip is character meets! Character meets aren't for everyone but I absolutely love looking back at my pictures after the trip and getting them printed because they all come out looking so lovely! If you're planning to meet a lot of characters on your trip, it may be worth considering getting a PhotoPass to get all of your professional photographs loaded on to. I didn't get a PhotoPass on this trip but I was lucky that a few girls on the trip did and were more than willing to share their photos.

Here are the characters I met on my December 2019 trip to Disneyland Paris:

On our first day in the parks, we used our extra magic hour to squeeze in a character meet as Peter Pan's Flight was yet to open. As Mickey usually has a rather large queue time, we popped in to meet him while he wasn't in such high demand. Mickey was lovely as always and we had a really good interaction. Our photographer on this occasion wasn't as good as others we have had but we still came away with some good pictures.

My second (and final) meet of that day was with Jack Skellington aka Sandy Claws. To get this meet, we had to download the Lineberty app. To reduce queue times and to keep queues under control, for certain meet and greets, you will be required to download the Lineberty app. On the app you can select your location, which park you are in, and which character meets are available to be booked by Lineberty in that park. Meeting Jack Skellington was my one goal for this trip and I managed to tick that off on day one. My one piece of advice is to make sure you get on to Lineberty the minute your chosen meet and greet opens or it will sell out!

Meeting Olaf has recently been added to the Studios park and as you can imagine, he is the most popular meet at the minute, especially with Frozen 2 having just been released. Unfortunately, I wasn't quick enough to nab a ticket for this meet but one of our other groups had a spare slot so I jumped in there! Olaf really got into character, as much as a non-speaking character can, so I'm really glad I met him even if at first I didn't think I was too bothered about it.

Molly from Molly Biggxo on YouTube had some spare slots for her meet with Pluto. So, I jumped on with her before going to meet Remy and Emile with a bigger group of the Disney fam! Remy and I were matchy matchy and it was mega cute.

The final meet of the day, and my final meet of the trip, was meeting Thumper on Main Street USA in his little Christmas bow! Thumper was one of the longest wait times I had this trip but it didn't feel like too long at all because I had good company and Thumper was very funny whilst interacting with other guests. I have never had such funny character interactions as the ones I saw and the one I had with Thumper. I loved this character meet so much I even bought a Christmas Thumper pin to remember it by.

Now that I've met Jack and Thumper, I don't know who to put on my bucket list for Disney character meets! Who have your favourite meets been and who is on your bucket list? I need some inspo x
