Birchbox UK Unboxing March 2015

Another month, another Birchbox and this month it's one of their best yet!

I will apologise now for crappy photos that don't do the box and the products justice (and I did forget to photograph one product.. I won't lie about that either) but it's 2am so forgive me.

Getting straight into it this is what the box and leaflet looked like:

The BirchBox bag I received this month is red. I find these bags very useful for carrying makeup around in my university bag, or for other little bits that I need throughout the day.

I find this theme really cute and did enjoy finding beauty related words in the word search!

The first product I saw is the one that is not photographed. It is the ModelCo More Brows. However, I have unboxed this product before on my YouTube channel, so click here to go find that! I was sooooo happy to receive this as my old one ran out a couple of months ago and I must admit it is my favourite brow product ever. I hadn't yet replaced it as I was planning to use up my remaining eyebrow pencils first (waste not, want not!) so luckily I didn't buy it as BirchBox have treated me to a new one already! RESULT! This was a full size product worth £13, so I've earned my money back for the box already! Also, this product is against cruelty-free.

The next product I saw was the Lanolips Rose Balm Intense, another full size product worth £9.50!

Another product against animal testing! Again, I have been trying to use up my old products before buying new ones so have not bought a hand cream in a while. However, I have used up two hand creams in the past few weeks and am onto my last beloved Hand Food by Soap & Glory, which I love very dearly but I feel like it is time to move on. I am now finding myself splashing out onto more expensive products though, as my lifestyle is getting busier and my skin quite frankly needs a lot more TLC than it used to. So, I am very excited to test this hand cream with rose oil and to see if it makes it to be my new staple hand cream.

The next product I see is the Doux me Comforting face mask and exfoliator.

I am not one of those people who use face masks regularly so this product didn't excite me so much. I find face masks too time consuming (as I wear glasses, I'm completely blind when using them so I can't get on with other things). Although, I do find it nice to have a few face masks in in case of girly sleepover where face masks are a must. So, although I doubt I will be reaching for this product, it will get used at some point. However, now I have just read more about it and seen marshmallow extracts are in it, I am more intrigued! A full size is £18 so this sample size works out to be worth £4.50, so I shall assume it is quite good for that price!

The next product I see is one I am looking forward to using (and I also think it will be the one I am most likely to repurchase) is the Amika Nourishing Mask.

I do wish this sample size would be bigger, but as the box has six products instead of the usual five, I shan't be complaining. After getting a reasonable chunk of my hair cut off due to split ends (the bane of my life), I am on the hunt for a decent repairing hair treatment and I'm hoping this will be just the right one! So, watch this space for that. I also love the packaging of this so much! 250ml of this product is worth £19.99, making this sample size worth £1.60.

The next product is the product I am least excited about, mainly because it does not fit my needs. This is the This Works pillow spray in sleep plus.

Due to my busy university life, I am usually exhausted at the end of the day and fall to sleep instantly so I won't need this too much. However on the occasional night I do have a restless nights sleep so I will save this for these occasions. The full size is £16, making this sample size worth £1.07.

The final product I see is a product I know I will love, but a product I do not need. So, it is nice to have this treat as it is not something I would have spent money on usually. This is a full size of Arrow Boost Color Enhancing Lip Balm.

Another cruelty free full size product worth £11! Thank-you BirchBox! This lip balm claims to adapt to the pH of your lips, making a colour thats just right for you. This reminds me of the BarryM colour changing lip stick but a lip balm version! I love it.

All in all this BirchBox was worth £40.67! Considering the box itself is only £10 (+ p&p) , this is worth your money four times over. I am so pleased with this months box, if you would like your own just click on the following link! You will also receive £5 worth of BirchBox points to spend in the BirchBox shop!
