I've never done a "catch up" kind of post before, but I thought it would be lovely to look back on in years to come. And also, if you guys are nosey like myself, you will find this equally enjoyable.
My Autumn term as a second year at university was pretty rough to say the least. So, I was very nervous for my Spring term. However, I ended up having such a lovely few months (despite the heavy work load).
Firstly, Autumn term saw the loss of some friendships meaning I felt pretty crappy. But, I became closer to some of my friends this Spring and made some new friendships also. Resulting in pizza nights, cute polaroids and funny Photo Booth images. I probably annoy these girls to heck but I'm very grateful for their existence.
These friends (pictured above) are also part of my faithful executive team for the Harry Potter society which has also made my Spring term so great. The highlights being a Harry Potter Murder Mystery (Draco and Lavender are canon now, okay?) and a trip to the WB Studios in London. Shoutout to everyone in that society because absolutely all of you are awesome and have added to making my Spring term special.
Another absolute highlight of my term was a trip to London to see both The 1975 and my friend Katie. She is honestly the most perfect human I have ever met and she is my inspiration every single day. This concert was a very last minute decision but was the highlight of my term. Katie's friends Evie and Kate are also absolutely lovely people so I was very happy to see them also.
The 1975 are quite a big part of my life in a cringey way. Last year, I went through a rough phase with depression and it was about that time I got into their music. So, going to their concert a year later and it being a really happy moment, when a year ago I didn't think I ever could be happy.. It was emotional.
I've never been the most sporty gal in the world, but I do enjoy playing netball despite me not being so great at it. This term I had the opportunity to play at The Copper Box at the UNO Shots tournament. Although I didn't play much (ew breathing problems) I really enjoyed the day.. And got a free tin of beans.
Now this is the most cringey part.. You have been warned
One highlight of my Spring term has been my boyfriend. He puts up with all my mental breakdowns and always makes me the happiest girl in the world at the end of the day. He is awesome.
