Having lived only 45 minutes away from York (or an hour away by bus) for 18 years (+ 2 months + 5 days) of my life, I decided that seeing as I am soon to be moving away for university it was about time I paid attention to more of the sights in my area.
I couldn't go without taking my beloved Alpaca called Patrick.
The first stop for Patrick's tourist adventure is Clifford's Tower!
(above: Patrick the Alpaca loving life outside Clifford's Tower)
For students it costs £3.90 to get in to Clifford's Tower but Patrick (the lucky devil) managed to get in for free!
They say that a picture says a thousand words so I decided to document his visit in photos (with a few captions thrown in for clarification).
(Above: Patrick chilling outside one of the doors inside the Motte and Bailey castle.. nobody opened the door to let him inside.. We suppose they had gone out to spend the day in the sunshine)
(Above: Patrick pretending to be one of the Lords of the castle.)
(Above: Patrick was feeling camera shy so wanted me to be in on the photo as well)
(Above: Patrick standing on the model of the old establishments pretending to be a giant alpaca ready to take over the world)
Patrick had a lovely time out in York. Expect more adventures from him coming soon!
