Handmade by ME jewellery | HMBM

On Wednesday 9th July, I visited The Great Yorkshire Show. The weather was kind to us and let the sun shine (very unusual for Britain). I'm not going to lie to you. The highlight of my day was eating nutella and banana waffles. I mean, you can't get any better than that (even if I did manage to get half of it in my hair due to a slight bit of wind).

The show consisted of the usual hundreds of farms animals (my favourite were the sheep), displays of tractors and plenty of stalls.
My favourite stall in particular was a stall selling lots and lots of jewellery for any of your geeky needs. There was a wonderful selection of earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings featuring My Little Pony, Marvel, One Direction & more.

After about half an hour of decision making (Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland or My Little Pony?!) I finally decided on a My Little Pony necklace. It cost me £7.50 and I must say it was the best £7.50 I've spent in a long time.

The figurine is attached by an eye screw and the chain joins with a lobster clip, both making the handmade necklace very secure and durable.
The necklace has made a lovely addition to many of my, previously plain, outfits.

And, no, it's not just for girls.. Exhibit A:

I honestly do think they are the nicest pieces of jewellery ever. They are such good quality so it is definitely worth every penny!
The lovely lady who was running the stall is one of the nicest people I've ever met. You can buy from her online store by clicking here or you can find her at events such as the London Comic Con.
