box of omg #3 & giveaway | initial thoughts / unboxing

At 8:31 am on Friday morning I got my email saying that my box of omg was waiting for me at Xscape in Castleford but as I was at school I couldn't collect it until yesterday (Saturday). When I got to Xscape me and my Dad struggled to find the locker so we had to ring up the company pretty embarrassing and eventually we found it near the back of the building. I put in my code and then the door popped open.
I then went and bought a sandwich from subway which I'm guessing none of you care about but for those of you who are interested it was a 6inch chicken breast sandwich on hearty italian bread with cheese and toasted and then with lettuce and tomato.

Okay so for those of you have no idea what box of omg it is essentially a subscription service. You can subscribe for about 38p a week or you can enter competitions to win boxes. I enter the competitions so that I can review the boxes for you guys because one of you tweeted me asking me to do so yes. Here it is.
This is what the box looks like
And then this is what it looks like on the inside
It is very busy but the first thing I pick out is the box of omg card which pretty much just introduces the box and asks if you will give them feedback and what not :)
The second thing I pick out is an advert for the chocolate box girls which includes a snippet from one of the books. These books are aimed at a younger age range to me so I probably won't read them but for the age range its a good idea to include them. It also has a recipe in it for some panda buns which I plan on making in the near future :3
Next I pick out a kids go free flyer for a zoo or something.. It's very very far away from me so it's a shame because I'll probably never use it but for anyone who lives close it looks like a very fun place :( this makes me sad
Next there are some cards with codes on which you can enter on the website to be in with a chance to win the next box of omg
The first proper item I pick out are some shoe laces from www.miioon.com I think that these are the cutest thing ever! They don't go well with any shoes that I own but I'm going to buy some especially to put these on! The laces also come with a card advertising the website, it also comes with a special code so you can go on the website and see if you've won a prize. I love these so much even though they're aimed at a much lower age range haha :3

The next items are 2 strawberry school bars that are one of your five a day. Great tasting fruity bars made with apple and strawberry purees, dried apple and concentrated juices of strawberry, apple and pear. Gluten free. I can't decide if I think these sound yummy or gross. I'm definitely going to try them because I'm really curious like the texture of them is very seedy and they're quite bendy so I have no idea what they're going to be like haha. I'll just throw them in my school bag and try them at break instead of buying some pizza :) woo healthy me!
My next item is a packet of moshi monsters stickers. I'm way too old to be a fan of moshi monsters but I think these stickers are so so so cute! I've used a couple of them on my note book to make it look a lot less boring.

Next I recieved some moshi monsters trading cards! I have no use for these at all so if you want them feel free to tweet me @alex_thecoolest and then I will direct message you (You must be following me on twitter to be able to do this!!!)

The final item is a book! I love reading because I am a complete and total geek so I am really happy with this! The book is One Dollar Horse. It is probably a bit young for me but I love books about animals so I am looking forward to reading it!
And then once my box was emptied it was full of cute little pink shredded paper which I am going to keep to use in gift bags and things :) Recycling for the win!

To say I got this box for free I am really pleased with it I'd say everything altogether in it would be worth about £15! Although it's not for my age I think it's a really cute idea and everything in it will be put to use (if not by me, then whoever I have passed the items on to)! Hopefully I will be able to review the next one for you as well!

I hope you enjoyed reading this and I hope it was what you wanted if you had tweeted me asking for this!
