Yves Rocher Sheer Botanical Lipstick | Review

Yves Rocher is a brand originating in France and, with the help of BirchBox, I was able to sample two of their new Sheer Botanical Lipsticks. They retail for £18.00 each.

In my June box I recieved the shade 12. Marron Glace and then with my BirchBox reward points I ordered the shade 31. Rose Grenadine.
Both arrived safely and in perfect condition. Kudos BirchBox.
The packaging of the lipsticks is absolutely beautiful and is a very sleek addition to any makeup bag.
These lipsticks contain cherry oil as one of the key ingredients. As well as adding a great deal of moisture to the lips, this also causes the lipsticks to smell like a lovely beautiful amazing heavenly heaven of cherries.

Marron Glace is a typical 'your lips but better colour' and gives the lips an extra glossy sheen.
Rose Grenadine seems like a very hot pink shade but once applied, it is a very subtle pink colour with very fine sparkles.
I would recommend 2-3 coats to get substantial colour pay off but still allow the lips to look natural.

When wearing these lipsticks out and about I have found that I have needed to re-apply them every 2ish hours.

I do believe that these lipsticks are quite pricey for what they are but I would definitely give them four out of five stars!
