Glossybox September 2014 Unboxing / First Impressions

With every new month comes a new Glossybox and with this one came the most beautiful Glossybox I have ever seen (designed by Karen Millen)

This is going to make me sound like a total loser but I plan on having this box sat above my makeup collection with all the samples I need to use in it.. It shall look so pretty..

The inside of the box looked like this:

with these two cards on top:

One showing what the October box is going to look like (I am more than slightly excited for it!) and one showing how to get £25 off at Karen Millen.

ModelCo MORE BROWS Fibre Gel
Full size sample: £14.95
As a girl with rather sparse brows, brow products always get me excited! yes, I'm that kind of weirdo. So, I was very excited to try this out considering it is triple the price of the products I usually opt for and I was not disappointed. This product gives you a fuller natural-looking brow. To me this is literally the perfect brow product. I love love love it. And retailing at £14.95 this more than covers the price paid for the box.
A good start. Kudos Glossybox.

Nails inc Westminster Bridge Matte Top Coat
Full size Sample: £12
I've never owned a matte topcoat before even though I've seen them everywhere so I was quite pleased with this. I never tend to wear matte nail polishes but I tried this over my current favourite nail colour (AVON's "presto plum") and it looks gorgeous. Nails inc products always never fail to impress me.
Another great product glossybox!

L'Oreal Professionnel Mythic Oil
Full size: £15.95
Sample size: £5.74
A few hours prior to opening my box, I had to throw away my beloved argan oil (quite frankly I'd opted for a £1.99 one and let's just say 14 months on it got a bit "past it's best") so was all set out to go find a new hair oil that would act to minimise the frizz of my damaged hair. So, upon finding this product in my box, I was more than a bit happy. One because I'd never heard of this and two because I'd just saved myself some money. I am yet to try out this product but I have heard it is very similar to argan oils.
So, smiles all round so far.

Nivea 3in1 Micellar Cleansing Water
Full size sample: £4.07
This is probably the product from my box that will be seeing the most use. I have just bought the garnier cleansing water but I have it packed away ready to go off to university. Cleansing products are products that I use every single day whether I've been wearing makeup or not. So, it's always nice to have more than one in the collection for when one inevitably runs out!
I did try this last night when taking my makeup off and found it to do a really good job of it! Not sure it beats my Superdrug TeaTree cleanser and toner just yet though!

SkinPep Enzyme and Acid Peeling Gel
Full size: £89.99
Sample size: £3.05 x 2
I wasn't sure what to expect from this product as to be honest I have never ever heard of a "peeling gel". I was expecting some form of face scrub so I tried it in the shower and I just found it to be very very stripping. Maybe this would work better for people with oily skin? I'm really not sure about it! I doubt I'll use the other sachet.
SkinPep Dark Circle Eraser
Full size: £44.99
Sample size: £6.49
This is quite clearly an anti-ageing product so I'm not sure I'm the correct target audience for this product. However, I do experience sensitivity with eyes when it comes to new makeup so I do like to have an eye cream at hand for those times so this definitely will get used. But, I'm pretty certain I wouldn't go out to buy this considering the price.

Overall the samples in my box were worth £49.35
