Good evening my lovely little macarons of sunshineyness.
Having people from all across the UK was achievement enough for me but now some of you are from America, France and even Russia and to be honest, I cannot thank you enough for that.
By having more of you reading this than I ever expected to have, it kind of got me thinking why I started a blog in the first place. This blog is my corner of the internet to share my opinions and store my memories. And I kind of feel that this blog has been a bit lacking in the whole memories department as of late. So, if you exquisite little packets of stardust wouldn't mind, I would quite like to share some of my day to day life stuff on here too (leaving out the hours I spend scrolling through tumblr). So, here we go!
On Wednesday, I woke up early to meet my friend in York - a 45 minute bus journey away from where I live. We made our way to a studio where we were going to have a fantasy photoshoot (I'm excited just thinking about it). The place was so much better than I'd expected it to be! There were so many outfits to try on and for a girl who loves dressing up (that's me if you didn't guess) it was kind of like being in heaven! Like the absolute pudding I am, I didn't get a photo of the whole backroom which was filled with even more delightful dress up.
I tried on two lovely long dresses - one that was kind of medieval and one that was more of the Greek Goddess style. I was loving it haha! I also met two lovely people who had also decided to accompany Jenny on her photography adventure.
One thing I have learnt from this experience is that I am terrible at smiling on cue!
After getting incredibly warm from the lighting, we had biscuits and water breaks which was yummy.
It was such a fun thing to do, especially with one of my great friends and it was even nicer getting to meet two new lovely people. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to do it!
Afterwards, I wandered through the lovely streets of York and decided to stop off at Subway.. It was kind of awkward as I was the only one in the entire place.. I think the workers thought I'd been stood up.. But, on the bright side, I made friends with him so YAY FOR FRIENDSHIP MAKING SKILLZ.
All in all, a fantastic day!
I also found Sherlock posters which I couldn't avoid taking a photo of...
I'm sorry this blog post wasn't the most interesting for you guys but in the future, I'll be glad that I wrote it to look back on! :)
